Adding a Custom Task in a Learners Program

Adding a Custom Task in a Learners Program

Click on the 'Learner' tab on the left menu and find your Learner.

Click on your Learner's Name to open their information OR on the Learner's Page you can access the Program page via the book icon.

You can add a new task directly in a Learner's program OR you can add a Task in your Curriculum and add it from there.

To add a new task, simply select “+ New Task” and select the appropriate task type.

When adding a New Task, you will first select the Task Type.

The options are: Skill Acquisition, Mand Frequency and Task Analysis – all of which will allow you to enter a full Teaching Procedure OR Behavior Deceleration – where you can enter information for a BIP (Behavior Intervention Plan)

Once you’ve selected your task type you can set up your task by completing the following steps:

  • Select an applicable domain and skill category
  • Add a task title and description
  • Add a custom task code.
  • Select the number of targets you would like on acquisition at a time. If you select “0” then all the targets will be available for data collection.
  • Select a Learner level (green=early, yellow=intermediate, red=advanced, white=neutral)

You are now ready to finalize your task by going into the “Teaching Procedure” or “BIP (Behavior Intervention Plan)” tab and completing the procedure/instructions.

Press Add.
